Wissensregion Düsseldorf has launched a number of important initiatives as part of its efforts to continuously improve conditions for international students, academics and professionals. A central component of these efforts is the development of a comprehensive FAQ list on questions of immigration law, which was compiled in close cooperation with the Düsseldorf Immigration Office.

This FAQ list aims to answer the most frequently asked questions about immigration law in a clear and understandable way. This should help international students and academics to better navigate the legal landscape in Germany. The list was first initiated in a joint meeting of the Round Table for International Students, a dialog platform that connects universities and the Office for Migration and Integration Düsseldorf.

Participation in the round table, which takes place regularly at Heinrich Heine University, provided a valuable opportunity to speak directly with the head of the Office for Migration and Integration and representatives from various universities. The discussion focused on the planned restructuring of the office and the resulting benefits for the international community.

The change measures presented in the office are of great importance for the attractiveness of the region as a center of attraction for international talent. Wissensregion Düsseldorf is proud to be able to contribute its expertise and networks to help support these important changes. The constructive dialog and openness with which the discussions were conducted offered profound insights into the challenges and opportunities of integrating international talent into the region.

With these measures, the knowledge region is reaffirming its commitment to being an attractive and supportive place for international students, researchers and skilled workers. Improved information services and stronger networking between universities, business and educational institutions and authorities will lay a foundation on which international talent can successfully study, research, work and live.
