Come & Cooperate” organizes half-day matching sessions in which researchers and companies come together for open-ended 20-minute 1:1 discussions. This is accompanied by funding advice, advice from innovation coaches and advice on property rights. The 6th edition of this format will take place on November 6, 2024 at the IHK Düsseldorf. You can find detailed information here.

The aim is to promote concrete and results-oriented exchange between companies and universities, which can lead to joint project applications or supervision of theses. Since its launch in 2018, 150 discussions and 40 funding consultations have been held. In addition, several funding applications have been submitted, theses supervised and working students placed, including an AI/robotics research project.

After a break due to the pandemic, the 2021 event took place digitally and achieved positive results, including the planning of student internships abroad and the exploration of further research projects in the economic field.

In 2023, the number of direct talks exceeded all expectations with over 80 contacts. This confirms the need for such a technology transfer format. Experts from renowned institutions such as Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Heinrich Heine University, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Fliedner University of Applied Sciences, Forschungszentrum Jülich and others took part. Open to all interested parties, Come & Cooperate offers an ideal platform for initial contacts and supports further cooperation.
