The region around the state capital Düsseldorf, the district of Mettmann and the Rhine district of Neuss is characterized by a combination of diversity and proximity.
In its recently launched recruiting film, Wissensregion Düsseldorf e.V. shows just how attractive the conditions are for international young researchers.
The approximately three minutes show how you can grow together in the region: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lLjJHDbFVE [If the video is not displayed here, you can go directly to YouTube here ]. The aim of the association is to counteract the increasingly acute shortage of skilled workers in Germany and to show that young researchers in particular can find an international setting here that offers everything they need and welcomes them with open arms.
The diversity and proximity of educational institutions in the region offers short distances and at the same time a wide range of different offers and access to professional qualifications, research and further education. “Our region not only has a lot to offer internationally established companies, but just as much for young scientists – excellent researchers will not regret coming to us,” says Kai de Weldige, Managing Director of Wissensregion Düsseldorf e.V. So take a look at the recruiting film and see for yourself!
The film was largely developed by the Association Marketing Working Group and worked out by the representatives of the member institutions over several months – from the conception to the coordination with the communications agency, the concrete implementation on the shooting days, the fine-tuning of the sequences to the approval of the final result.
We would like to thank the participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, time and commitment!
The film is also a result of the new association strategy and therefore remains a work in progress – so it will continue to be exciting in the future!   Note: In order to view the video on this page, cookies must be accepted in advance.
