Organized by Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in collaboration with six other research-intensive institutions – including Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf University Hospital, Forschungszentrum Jülich, the German Diabetes Center, the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management – the Night of Science serves to make the region’s diverse scientific expertise visible.
The Night of Science is a fascinating event that brings science and research closer to the general public in an innovative and interactive way. This event has a special significance in the Wissensregion Düsseldorf, as it allows people of all ages to experience science up close and outside of traditional academic spaces.
The event offers a variety of interactive contributions on different topics such as medicine, environmental sciences and technology, inviting people to participate, think and discuss. Wissensregion Düsseldorf plays a key role in ensuring that this event functions not only as an educational experience, but also as a networking platform by promoting direct exchange between researchers, students and the general public.
The next Night of Science: Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5 p.m. to midnight on Schadowplatz and in the Haus der Universität in downtown Düsseldorf.
