Member acquisition, new project management and a change in the Executive Board: there have been some personnel changes at the association in the first quarter of 2022.
An overview.
Wissensregion Düsseldorf e.V. welcomes two new member institutions
With the Kreissparkasse Düsseldorf the association welcomed a new member on February 1, which has been committed to a region worth living in and rich in opportunities for more than 100 years and whose area of activity includes the district of Mettmann as well as the state capital.
The aim of current and future acquisition efforts is to increase the representation of the district and the Rhine district of Neuss in the membership, and KSKD’s membership is an important step in this direction.
We look forward to working together!
Read the Kreissparkasse press release from April 28, 2022 here. It has also been decided that the Association of German Cement Works e.V. as of April 1.
The VDZ is a research and competence center in the fields of concrete, cement and environmental protection and is also a founding member of the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AiF).
The Wissensregion Düsseldorf e.V. has thus gained another research-strong member for the common cause – a warm welcome already!
After Meyer Architekten GmbH, a founding member of the association, unfortunately left Wissensregion e.V. at the end of the year, we are now pleased to be back at work with a total of 22 member institutions and to continue to drive forward the association’s work in the various working groups and project groups.
A breath of fresh air at the office, new representation of the city on the board
In addition to the membership, the office can also look forward to new reinforcements: project manager Katrin Schömann Hölzl started work at the beginning of February.
As the successor to Dr. Christina Rauh, her tasks include coordinating public relations and communicating with the various partners from the member institutions, for example with regard to the 4th Night of Science planned for September 9.
We are delighted to have her active support and would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new colleague once again! There has also been a change of personnel on the association’s board since the new year: The City of Düsseldorf will no longer be represented by City Director Burkhard Hintzsche.
His role will be taken over by Dr Michael Rauterkus, Councillor for Economic Affairs, Digitization, Personnel and Organization.
We would like to thank Mr. Hintzsche for his many years of trusting cooperation and look forward to working with Dr. Rauterkus!
