Third edition of ‘Düsseldorf meets International Talents’

‘Düsseldorf meets International Talents’ invites international students and researchers to the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf on 3 December. The event promotes networking with local authorities, companies and city representatives and offers panel discussions, musical interludes and a lecture on networking strategies. A city tour through the old town rounds off the programme. Registration is possible until 10 November.

Welcome Day 2023

The second Welcome Day for international students and researchers in Düsseldorf took place on December 5, 2023 at the Tech.Hub Düsseldorf.
Christian Zaum welcomed 30 participants from various universities and research institutions.
The aim is to keep international talent in the region.
Dr. Kai de Weldige emphasized the importance of career prospects.
Supported by the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce and companies such as Henkel and the Max Planck Institute, the participants gained valuable insights into the job market and networked.
The day ended with a visit to the Christmas market in the old town.

Düsseldorf Welcome Day shows perspectives

The first Welcome Day for international Master’s students in the Wissensregion Düsseldorf took place on November 23.
15 students were welcomed by Lord Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller.
The aim is to retain international students as skilled workers after they graduate.
Supported by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and companies, they were given valuable career insights and networking opportunities.
