March 5th marked a special moment: The participants of the Innovation Course of Wissensregion Düsseldorf presented their groundbreaking ideas to an audience from academia, business, and the start-up scene. The event, hosted at FOM Düsseldorf, not only showcased exciting entrepreneurial projects but also fostered valuable exchange and new networking opportunities.
Innovation course 2024: Become part of the future!
The Innovation Course 2024 is aimed at students, trainees and curious people who love new ideas and want to make the world a better place.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Michael Friebe, participants learn how to develop and present their own business ideas.
The course offers practice-oriented exercises, international innovation methodology and networking opportunities.
The kick-off event “Innovation Design Challenge” provides a non-binding introduction.

Implementation of an innovation course
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Innovation Semester 2023 due to an uneven distribution of applications.
Some courses were oversubscribed, others were hardly in demand, which contradicts the interdisciplinary objectives.
Nevertheless, we are continuing an “innovation course” that strengthens entrepreneurial skills and motivation, led by Prof. Michael Friebe and Inga Hennrich.
